| Note: Here it is, the final draft of Rhi and Ti's One. I appologize for taking so long to polish it off but these things take time, you know. I've pretty much incorperated most of the background needed into this story but if you want anything more check out the SME page for the earlier adventures of Titanite and Jupiter Knight's page for the largely unfinished origin story of Rhiannon. | ||||

finally had some time to herself. When she had become an exchange student
in Japan she had thought that she would have more access to anime and
maybe pick up on the language. She never thought that she would wind up
in a weird pseudo Sailor Moon universe where she would have to console
a distraught Jan Brady and live at Sailor Mars's temple. To top it all
off she was being considerably drained of energy to help boost the ginzoishou
every once and a while.
Usagi wasn't using her as a battery. Oh no, the Meatball Head was too kind hearted to do that. The damned thing was hooking on to her by itself. Ami had just noticed it that morning while she was scanning the area and thought it fit to inform her. Even worse though was the fact that Rhi's hair was going prematurely silver. It's not like I'm a mage or something, she thought, am I? Rhi absolutely idolised Mercedes Lackey's Valdemar novels. In them the mages usually had their hair bleached silver in a few years of practising magic. Rhi wondered for a second if the books were right. She decided not and sighed. Even if they were true she lived on the wrong planet. This was Earth, not Velgath. Rhi was in a lonely part of Juban. With the avant garde booksellers and little indie theaters it was a far cry from the Ginza. Rhi walked the lonely streets in her long plaid anorak which she imagined was a trenchcoat. She started to walk in a slinky way. I'm secret agent 770, Jane Bond, she giggled inwardly. Up ahead there was a bright part among the seediness. Rhi wondered if it was the Crystal Tower. She reprimanded herself. You aren't in Crystal Tokyo, Rhi, no matter how much you wish you were. As she got closer to the building its name in bronze lettering on the window. "The Millennium Coffee Shop" it read in elegant copperplate. What the hell? thought Rhi and she pushed the door open . . . Titanite was depressed. She still couldn't hold psychoplasm in one shape long enough to win back her posters and OAVs. An otaku without her anime is a very sorry creature, she thought introspectively. As she roamed through the streets of Juban the autumn leaves crackled beneath her feet. Looking through the storefront windows she saw the myriads of costumes. Even though the Japanese didn't celebrate Halloween there always was some little kid who wanted to dress up as their favorite anime charecter. Sailor fuku were displayed prominently in the windows. There was the usual Moon, Mars, Mercury, Jupiter, Venus, and V but this year Ti saw Polaris costumes as well. In the more ecchi places they even had Sailor Arcturus style leather fuku. What are you gonna be for Halloween, Ti, she thought with a sudden smile. Over on the telephone post there was a rather large color poster. It was an ad for a band called the Goat Guys who would be coming to Juban. Ti had heard their music and thought it was pretty good. On the poster there was two girls and two guys. The white-blonde haired girl wore goat hooves. That was Cherokee Bat who danced and sang. Her black haired sister, Witch Baby, wore a beautiful pair of wings. She was the drummer. Raphael Jah-Love sang and played guitar in his goat fleece pants. Angel Juan . . . (what was it? She knew it was a Spanish name that began with R.) played base wearing his goat horns. Ti's mother had had a pair of horns but hadn't passed those on to her offspring. Looking fully human on the outside was a definite bonus. Farther onward Ti saw an old fashioned building with an actual awning. You don't see many of those anymore, she thought. On the large window was written "The Millennium Coffee Shop." Ti wondered if it was an omen. Then she decided that it was just one of those weird coincidences that seemed to happen to people here. Ti decided to go in. It could be something important that would redeem her in the mind of her brother. She pushed the dark oaken doors open and stepped inside . . . The only person inside was a girl about her own age. It looked like she had came in a second before herself. The two decided to sit next to each other at the counter. A few seconds after the two came in a bespectacled man in his late twenties to early thirties came in. His name tag read "Mark." He started to sweep the floor. If the two could of seen his face they would have noticed that he was desperately trying not to laugh. "What's your name?" said the blue-eyed girl in a pleasant English accent. "Rhiannon McIntyre" said the one whose greeny-grey eyes were framed by spectacles. It was the voice of someone who had lived most of her life in America, except for the odd trilling of an R or hissing of an S. "And yours?" "Titania Hobbes" "Like the philosopher?" "Yeah, but you can call me Ti for short" Titanite wondered why the girl seemed to identify her name with the philosopher instead of the comic strip charecter that was named after him. "Then you can call me Rhi" There was a pause. "You're a gaijin too, aren't you." "Yeah" A fourth presenced graced the room and Ti started to feel odd as the only person without glasses. This new girl was about their age, tall, and had much of the same coloration as Rhi, if not as refined features, although she wasn't ugly, just woefully plain and chubby. "Hello girls, my name is Rebecca Malsin" the girl said "You may call me Becky for short. This is my coffee shop. That old fogie over there is Mark Latus, my partner." Mark tossed a grin at the two girls. "You see, my friends this is no ordinary coffee shop." Becky continued "It operates on a dimensional flux. I only let special elite people such as you in here. Time in here is fluid. You can take either an eternity doing something or a nanosecond for the same thing. Time here is what you wish" The girls saw that each window behind Becky showed a different scene. Becky was solemn for a second and then brightened "So what do you want to eat? Thunder Burgers, perhaps?" "What the heck is a Thunder Burger?" Ti asked. A transdimensional coffeeshop? Then again she'd been weirder places, heck she'd grown up in a very strange and dangerous world. "Lizard food!" joked Mark who was still sweeping. He had a mangled accent, somewhere between British and Canadian. "Don't scare the customers" reprimanded Becky "I'll bring out two free samples." She disappeared into the background. With a wink Mark followed his young boss. "Mark was right" whispered Rhi "I read about them in a book called 'Lizard Music'." Seeing Ti's interested look, Rhi added "Unfortunately they are food for lizards, not food made out of lizards. Don't worry, I heard they are quite good, anyway." Ti looked into Rhi's tote bag."What's that?" she asked pointing to a volume of manga. She forgot to ask Rhi how she knew that Ti liked properly cooked reptile. Rhi took it out on set it on the table. "It's my prize possession. The only copy of the first volume of the Sailor Moon manga in this dimension." Ti scrutinised it carefully. On the cover was a perky looking teenage girl that resembled Usagi Tsukino, a girl she used to know. "Wow! Where did you get that?" "I bought it back home before I came to Japan." said Rhi with a hidden small smile. "You see I'm a gaijin in more than one way. That may be one thing we have in common." Ti made eye contact with her companion then quickly looked away. For a second Rhi's eyes seemed more silvery grey than green and sad. Weird, thought Ti. "Want to look at it? I think I even have some of the English translation." Rhi asked. Her eyes were back to normal. Maybe Ti had hallucinated a second ago. "Sure" Ti replied. She started to flip through it. "It was written by Naoko Takeuchi" said Rhi as Ti examined the volume. "She writes the Sailor V manga!" exclaimed Ti. "I thought she would" said Rhi. "She writes them in my home dimension as well. I really miss it." "You can travel dimensions, too?" Ti asked. Then she clamped her hand over her mouth "Never mind. Forget I ever said that." "It's okay" Rhi said. She seemed to take all the weird stuff into stride. "It's nice to meet another dimensional traveller. Even though the only place I've been is the dimension I just came from. Fluxes like this don't count." "I've been to the ones for Ranma, Bubblegum Crisis, City Hunter, and one other that is unidentified as of yet" bragged Ti. She decided not to mention the Overfiend Universe. Rhi might think she was as ecchi as Happosai and besides, she was never going back there. "You go girl" exclaimed Rhi and slapped Ti a rather unexpected high five. Ti mock-bowed and giggled "Thank you" She sobered up. "Except I don't have the gizmo I used to cross dimensions anymore, so no more bogus journeys for me. Maybe it's for the best, if you don't where you're going to arrive you can run into some nasty stuff. Well enough about me, where do you come from, anyway?" "Well . . . I was born in a reality that I haven't found an anime that corresponds with. It may just stand on its own, though from what I have heard that is very rare," said Rhi. "Anyway I had signed up to be an exchange student here in Japan, only in my own reality. Somehow on the flight over we crossed from our world into an alternate Sailormoon dimension. The reason I know that it is alternate is that some things from the last season (Sailormoon Stars) of have been changed. It's a TV show at home. Since you didn't seem to recognise the manga I brought it seems that you are from a Sailor Moon dimension as well." "Yeah" said Ti, slightly puzzled by the rapid speed of Rhi's words. "Nice guesswork." She thought for a second and added."What was different?" "The Outer Senshi (you know, Pluto, Saturn, Uranus, and Neptune) were still hanging around in Tokyo. The were supposed to have left in the last episode." Odd. The Outer Senshi weren't even in Ti's laser disk for Sailor Moon Stars. It made an even non-paranoid person think that, instead of having the series wrong in the first place, the disks had been tampered with. At least Akane had mentioned the right villians in her world. But who would have tampered with the disks? Silence then ensued while Ti read the manga. Rhi pulled "The Ultimate Hitchhikers Guide" from her totebag and started reading. While the girls were immersed in their volumes Mark came back out, carrying a laptop. He crept over to a table by the window and started typing, the sun shining in his red hair. If anyone could have been looking over his shoulders they would have seen the title "Thy Kingdom Come" on the top of the document. The silence was interrupted when Becky came into the store front, tray in hand. "Hi guys" she chirped. "Here's your Thunder Burgers. I also gave you each a complimentary glass of cider, too." On Becky's face was a rather demented smile. It had the effect of reminding one of a certain mad professor whose first name is Souchii and last name Tomoe. "Oy gevalt!" groaned Rhi. "You look just like the leader of the Death Busters" "Do not!" shrieked their host. "Do too" "Not" "Too" "Pbthh" "Pbthh" This lead to Ti and Mark's face faulting. Rhi, the least stubborn of the two finally backed down. "Okay" she admitted "You really don't look like Prof. Tomoe" "I accept your apology but you'll have to pay for that slight" grumbled Becky. Rhi teardropped. "Whaaa . . . ?" she whimpered. "You'll pay me 20 yen" dead panned Becky. Rhi forked over the cash. "You drive a hard bargain." Which wasn't exactly true because you know, as well as I do, that she had just given the girl the equivlant of two dimes. While the two girls ate and talked they found they had a common interest . . . ANIME. They even adored the same series, Ranma. They had a short debate on which male character was cuter. Rhi idolized Ryouga while Ti preferred the title character. "Too bad he's a jerk in real life" she sighed. "Hai" answered Rhi. "That's why I like Ryouga." "Good strategy" After awhile the clock on the wall made weird chiming noises. "Shimatta" groaned Rhi. "I gotta be back home soon. How about seeing you again next Sunday. Same time, same place." Ti nodded. Rhi scooted out the door and literally vanished. Ti shivered. Then she shrugged and stepped out the door. "I think that went rather well" said Becky to Mark after the girls went. "It's kind of odd talking to the people you invented though but besides that . . . " "Well?" giggled Mark. "You got insulted by your own character!! That'll teach you to go around looking like a demented frog!" "Baka!" yelled Becky "It's not funny, you know. You'll get your turn soon enough. Or did you already get it? Space-time seems to be odd around here. Anyway, who'll be laughing _then_?" She thought for a second and then added, "And I do NOT look like a demented frog!!!!!!!" Mark laughed a little bit more and then conceded "Okay, you do not look like a demented frog" Becky smirked. Then Mark added "You looked like a crazed wombat!" "Why you . . . you . . . EEUUAAGH" roared Becky. She grabbed a Megamallet and started chasing Mark. BAM! "I'm sorry, Becky" POW! "Sorry's not good enough, you avocado brained ostrich! I knew I should have asked Sam to do this with me instead of you!" BANG! "I want my MOMMY!!" No one was behind Rhiannon after she left. She wasn't really surprised after all the stuff that had happened in the the last few hours. Hours, she thought, looking at the clocks in a store front. I haven't been in there less than two hours and only five minutes have past. I guess Becky was right about time being odd in there. Rhi felt rather bad about insulting Becky. She had been downright rude. Oh well, she had made up for it by relinquishing the twenty yen. What was weird was the fact that Becky seemed to know her. The girl even had a rather motherly attitude toward her! And there was a little bit of resemblance between the two, although even at her worst Rhiannon had never been that chubby. Still, if it wasn't because of the damned rock she wouldn't be as thin as she had been lately. Heh. Wonder why the stone searches out for me. Doesn't do that for Wart, Yuuchirou or anyone else. Wait, that's not true. I think it once tried Sandy, but it seems to like me better than him. What do you know? Even rocks can have good taste. Her thoughts turned to her new friend. Titanite, she inwardly sighed, I know what she is but she doesn't know I know. Oh why do I have to be cursed so. To know myriads of thing but not be able to tell people them. Back home Rhi had spent hours upon hours surfing the 'Net for pages for her main obsession, Sailor Moon. By chance, one day while she was hanging around a fanfic site she had discovered a little tale called "Sailor Moon : Refugees". She had fallen in love with all the Dark Kingdom Renegades but felt the deepest connection with Titanite, the youngest of the group of rebel youma. Now that she had seemingly met her idol she couldn't even talk about the DKR's adventures because how could she have had the knowledge? The only reason Ti had even admitted to having a Bogus Journey was because of a slip and Rhi's good cover up. Oh well, she'd dwell more on that later tonight. She had other things to think about. As she climbed the multitude of steps to reach the temple Rhi wondered if Mark Latus being there had any significance. If Mark is Ti's author does that mean that Becky is mine? That would explain why things in this universe are so different than what they're supposed to be. Rhi had no qualms about being a character in some story. Most people would but Rhi was more accepting of oddities like that. Almost as if she was genetically programed to be so. But that was silly, wasn't it? Then again, it might only be from reading too much fantasy and sci-fi. You never knew. She sighed as she reached the top. She checked in the room that the Senshi usually had meetings in. Good, no one was in the room yet. Rhi found a dark crevice and curled up in there, ready for her role of devil's advocate. Just then the Senshi started to come in . . . But that part has already been told. Or is it will be told? So had the events of the next few weeks save the fact that Rhi made many more trips to the Millennium Coffee Shop, with and without Ti and she and Ti became very good friends. So why don't we fast forward a little bit . . . Rhi had come in early that day on purpose. She looked into the newly washed counter at her reflection. Good, her glamour was in tip top shape. She really would have to tell Ti her secret today. She picked at her chocolate pound cake. That was really unlike her. She usually ate with gusto. Must be nervousness. Sighing she sipped her apple cider. I think I'll try to sigh less next Lent. Ti flew in the door. "Hi Rhi!" she said brightly. Noticing her friend's melancholy look she asked "Is there anything wrong?" "Not really, Ti. I just haven't told you some stuff about me that I think you should know." "Like what?" "I'll tell you somewhere private." Rhi turned her head to Becky. Their hostess nodded, gestured to one of the many doors all along the wall, and said "Try that door." The two girls went through the door and entered onto a misty pavilion. "Becky is too good to me", murmured Rhi. "Where are we?" asked Ti, puzzled by Rhi's comment. "Home", said Rhiannon, with a small, sad smile. "One of my first ones. Make yourself comfortable. We'll be here a long while." Then she let her glamour drop. "Rhi! What happened to your hair and eyes?" gasped Ti. They had been bleached to the purest silver and shone like a million stars. "There's more." Rhi said calmly "CHARON MOON POWER, Make Up!" A short transformation later Rhi was fuku clad and holding a tall silver key-shaped staff with an opal on top. "B . . . b . . . but how?" stuttered Ti. "Okay, You ready for this?" sighed Rhi. "Of course" groaned Ti "Just get on with it" Nodding, Rhi started to tell her story . . . "I was born for the first time about twenty-three years into the reign of the first Queen Serenity. My mother, father, and stepmother all worked as her staff. Mama and Jocosta, her lover, were both mindhealers. They're kind of like your modern psychiatrists. My father was the trainer of the new staff. I was the second of three children, all of us girls. My older sister was named Persphone Nimue and my younger one, Elaine Morgause. Back then my name was Calliope, Calliope Vivianne Bwenteir. The first name was from Earth, where my father was born and the second was a Plutonian name, from my mother. "Anyway, when I was fourteen, Persphone was seventeen, and Elaine was eleven, Persphone and I had a little accident involving us colliding into each other and falling into a ditch. To get to the point, these little things called sigils started glowing on our heads. On my sister's head there was the sigil of Pluto and on mine, under the sigil of Pluto was a crescent moon. That was a sign that we were supposed to be Sailor Senshi. Phersphone would be the Senshi of Pluto and I would be the Senshi of its moon, Charon. "So they sent Persphone and I there, to Pluto, to meditate and figure out what our powers and duties were. There were a few other people there back then, mostly members of our Clan Bwenteir. My grandmother Cerridwen was the matriarch then, and she passed that title on to me. We eventually found out was that Persphone was to Guard the Flow of Time and I was to Guard the Passages Between Worlds. "Years past and Persphone and I didn't get any older. At first we thought it was just the long youth of the Senshi but after the first few decades we got suspicious. We finally went to Sidhe for guidance." "WHO!?!?!?" demanded Ti. "The clan's goddess." replied Rhi "She was the goddess of the stars, time and space, and, most importantly, light. Actually, the word "sidhe" means light or goddess in our tounge but we never did give her a proper name. She would also be called the Presence or sometimes Great Otaku of Dimensions (G.O.D. for short). "Anyway, we found out that it was the nature of the planet that was changing us. You see, the core of Pluto is what is known in some places as a magic well. Quite simply put, all the currents of magic around it empty into it. It radiates energy that mages can tap. My sister's and my powers, however, come from a part called the mana or life force. The mana on Pluto is enhanced by the magic that is in the core. Besides enhancing it, the magic also adds other qualities to the mana and thus us. Basically the magic did something to our bodies so that we wouldn't age. That occurred during the first year or two here. Sidhe also informed me that I had a powerful magic gift, much different than the mind mastery of my clan, and during peaceful times I visited other dimensions, seeking training. "So Persphone and I lived on through the millennia. We eventually set up a sort of office on Earth but that was linked to home by a years worth of warping space. We're actually sitting in that island, our Ynys yr Aflon. Persphone stopped going to the palace except during the official ceremonies and I wasn't out much either. I usually would leave only to train magicly gifted children but those grew fewer and fewer. There came to be a saying that if The Senshi of Pluto and Charon ever left their post all hell would break loose. "We finally came out of hibernation during the reign of the last Queen Serenity. Those last years we had a lot to do, planning for Beryl's attack. Phersphone and I foresaw that she would defeat us so we arranged for the escape of most of our forces. I and Gwyndion, my pupil, had opened portals to two other worlds so that the Senshi that were still training and the Palace Guard could escape. We started too lateand before we could seal the portal Beryl attacked. The force of that demon, Metallia, slammed the portal shut and the backlash killed the young Senshi and I. I expect that it did the same thing to Gwyndion and the Guard." Tears began to form on Rhi's cheek but she wiped them away. Ti noticed how Rhi's voice seemed to tremble at Gwyndion's name. She had this hunch . . . "You loved him, didn't you" said Ti softly and incredulously. Poor Rhi-chan, she thought. "Hai, Ti-chan" answered Rhi. She gathered up the breath to finish the story. "Fifteen or so years ago I was reborn in the universe that I had made the portal to. Even though I had no memory of my past life, when I was thirteen I was inexplicably drawn to a Japanese cartoon show that had been badly dubbed into English. That show was called Sailor Moon. "I became one of it's devotees, a Moonie as we called ourselves. It led me to other anime. Earlier this year I signed up to go here in an exchange program. I was shocked to find that my host was a Rei Hino." "Rei Hino is Sailor Mars' real name!" gasped Titanite, remembering the Sailor Moon manga she had read. There, that gave her an explanation for that knowledge. "Anyway about a week ago there was an attack by some of the Senshi's enemies at a concert that some of my friends were playing at. It was all so quick. I felt like there was a part of me being released and screamed something and the enemy was hurled backwards into a void. When I woke up I remembered everything." Rhi untransformed, her story done. "Why did you tell me this?" asked Ti, hardly believing what she heard. "Because I consider you a good friend." said Rhi "I thought that you should know my secret. If you hate me because of it I won't be mad." Ti thought. She was a little scared of Rhi. The Senshi were the executioners for her race, after all. And Rhi was from another world where youma and the Senshi still hated each other. But Rhi hadn't fought her kind like the other Senshi. Ti made her decision. "No Rhi-chan, I don't hate you." Ti said "You can't help being a Senshi." On Rhi's face was an expression of complete joy. "Domo arigato!" she whispered to the sky, as if she had everything riding on Ti's answer. Ti blushed inwardly. Rhi trusted me with her greatest secret. The least I can do is tell her mine, she mused, Forgive me, big brother. I know Rhi wouldn't tell. "I have something to tell you too" Ti said, pulling the pocket knife Margrave had given her out of her pocket. She pierced her fingertip. The second before the needle broke skin she let her glamour drop. Blood as blue as her eyes welled up. "You're a youma." said Rhi, quietly. "You must have great trust to tell one of your mortal enemies this, Titanite." "You know my real name?!?!?" gasped Ti. "Who told you?!?!?" "The summer after I discovered Sailormoon I found a bunch of documents on the internet, episodes that had been written but not animated. One of them was about a five youma who escaped from the Dark Kingdom between the Ail and Ann episodes and the episodes with Chibi Usa. The youngest of the youma was named Titanite." "So you knew about me earlier. Why didn't you tell me you knew?" Ti demanded. "You had to tell me of your own free will" Rhi countered. "You had to trust me to keep your secret because you wanted to, not because you had to." "Hmmm" sighed Ti "That would be right, and noble too. Like a Senshi would act in your situation." "And would you do that?" questioned Rhi. "Of course I would." said Ti, exasperatedly "What kind of monster do you take me for?" "I think you're a sweet, impetuous, and caring youma, unless I read you wrong" said Rhi with a laugh "And no, that's not a contradiction in terms." "Thanks" said Ti, her cheeks flushing "I believe you're the first Senshi to ever compliment one of my race intentionally." "I won't be the last, Sailor Polaris." grinned Rhi. "It's gonna take awhile to accept that you know everything about me" Ti groaned. "Don't worry, Ti-chan" said Rhi with mock solemnity. "You'll get used to it." "I suppose I will" Ti admitted. "So what do you want to do. I still have an hour or two of real time before I have to get home?" "Me too" laughed Rhi "My world or yours?" "Mine" decided Ti "Lets blow this popsicle stand!" After they both reset up their glamours the two passed through the glowing portal into the coffee shop and then out the coffee shop door to the SME universe. As soon as the girls left Becky and Mark let down _their_ defenses. "It went great this time" Becky bragged. "I'm not sure if it was great" sighed Mark "But it went better. At least this time you didn't go around grinning like a psychotic rodent." "Sure, rub in my mistakes WEEKS after I make them" growled Becky "Just because you're at almost two decades older than I doesn't mean that you have to keep criticising me." "But you're so fun to tease" insisted Mark. "You're an insane banana, that's what you are!" A ripe yellow banana flew through the air. "That's my name, don't wear it out!" cackled Becky "For I am the Insane Banana of North High School!" "Nice Kodachi imitation" Mark said, sardonically. "Hey, don't knock Kodachi." Becky said huffily "KODACHI RULES!!!" "I guess since you _are_ a psycho you are a fan of them as well" teased Mark. Becky teardropped, then recovered. "C'mon Mark, when have I led you wrong? Or will lead you wrong?" "I think that somewhere a little bit ahead of this space in time you'll do something to make me mad at you. I just can't remember what it will be." Damned editing. Made his mind flutuate from the past, to the future, then back again. "That's in the future, my friend, and Rhi played her part perfectly." Becky reassured her rather more paranoid elder. "She didn't mention that we're their authors. It's a good thing that she has the good sense not to tell Ti that and create a paradox." She paused and then smiled. She had a pretty smile which contrasted with her otherwise plain face. "Thanks for being my muse, Mark. I would have never pulled this off without your help." Mark ruffled his protage's brown hair and smiled. She was really a good kid, even though she was annoying at times. He hoped that the others would accept her after this trial period. It would be nice to have some girls on the team. Or were there already three very anoying girls? He had the vague memory of being a pig but all this editing was giving him a headache. Oh well. "Here's looking at you, kid." he murmured. Ti had led Rhi to a park by Tokyo Bay. There was lots of little kids hanging around. Over by the picnic area there was a pink (!?!?) haired little girl, with her hair in pointy odagos, chasing another girl who was a few years older. Ti led Rhi passed the children to a tall oak tree. She climbed up through its branched and, shrugging, Rhi followed suit. At the top of the tree was a sturdy wood platform. Ti leaned back onto a tree branch and smiled. "Welcome to my secret hideout". Rhi giggled and copied Ti. "Very cool" she complimented. The girls melted into a dreamlike state. "Anything you want to talk about" Rhi asked after a few minutes of lying about. "Two things" Ti said "The first is while there is a Sailor Pluto here, I've never heard of a Sailor Charon so I guess that your ancient history is different from ours. Also your account doesn't match what I know about the fall of Silver Milenium in this world. Besides the fact that it makes your history different, why is there only one of you?" "I think Sidhe decided that since I have dimension travelling abilities I can be in any dimension I chose so it would be silly to have more than one of me. Becky might know why I was born into this world or she might not. Sometimes I think no one knows more than we do and sometimes I know that she might know more." Rhi answered after some thought. Then she lied. "Anyway, there's probably only one of you as well. "Even so, there are others called Charon in other worlds, though they aren't alternate mes." Rhi continued after catching her breath. "There are two that I know a bit about. One of them is a Senshi too but she looks nothing like me. She is a Guardian of Nature. The only thing she has in common with me is that we share the same sister and both have an Opal Orb. The other is male. He is the lover of my sister in his own dimension" Titanite lapsed into a thoughtful silence after the answer to her question. It was amazing how nothing seemed to faze Rhi. Ti wondered how she would have reacted at the thought of someone sharing her name and some attributes. She probably would have freaked out. "Second is I miss my anime" continued Ti after she was done pondering "Big brother Calcite confiscated it and I can't get it back until I create something out of psychoplasm that lasts for an hour or so." "What have you been creating so far?" asked Rhi with great interest. "Little balls" replied Ti as she created an example. The ball stayed for perhaps a ten seconds and then melted. "Maybe you should try something different." suggested Rhi. "Huh?" Ti said, surprised. "Like what?" "Try something out of anime." Rhi answered "Like Akane's hammer, Kuno's bokken, Shampoo's bonbori, or even Tenchi. I mean the sword, not the dude." "You just may be right" Ti mused. "I think I'll try the hammer." Rhi reached into her tote bag (She had brought it with her as usual) and took out a stopwatch. "Let me time you" she asked. "Good thinking" Ti smiled. "Okay, here goes nothing" In her hand formed a mallet. Rhi quickly grabbed what looked like a Bogie style dummy in trenchcoat and fedora out of her tote bag, wrote a quick label that said "Magnesite" and stood back. "MAGNESITE NO BAKA" Ti yelled as she squashed the head of the dummy. She looked at Rhi. "Where did he come from?" she asked, puzzled. "I had him stored in my hyperspace pocket" Rhi replied "Don't ask any questions. You got to solidify the damn hammer!" Ti looked down at the mallet which had started to melt. She muttered what sounded like a curse in youma'shak and started to concentrate. The melting mallet started to waver in and out of being but it finally solidified. After a stretch of time that felt like a century to Ti, Rhi announced "Fifteen minutes and counting" "Yes! Yes! YES!" cheered Ti. "NEW RECORD!!! I have a chance to recover my anime junk!!" The girls slapped numerous high fives and did what looked like a victory dance around the miraculously made mallet. They checked the stopwatch after they had calmed down to see that it had lasted for twenty minutes. Then they repeated their earlier hoopla. When it had lasted for forty five minutes Rhi took out two cans of pop from her bag and they toasted themselves. The mallet finally dissolved after sixty one minutes. After giddiness at Ti's grand success they fell into unexpected sobriety, Rhi in particular. "Want to go on a little trip?" she asked after her long brooding. "HUH?" Ti grunted. "I mean" Rhi said smoothly "With my dimensional travelling capabilities and your allies we can have lots of fun." "Such as . . ." Ti said, egging Rhi on. "How would you like to go back to visit the residents of the Tendo Dojo?" Rhi asked. "We can go back and annoy the heck out of Ranma" "Just like my Bogus Journey" Ti sighed. "Even better" Rhi vowed "It would be an Excellent Adventure!" |
